About the 114-Year-Old Romantic Mountain Cabin
This restored cabin was built around 1910 on Mount Dunbar of the ancient Wichita Mountain Range in historic Medicine Park, Oklahoma. Throughout the first half of the 20th century, it was a home for a family with seven children as the First Baptist Church’s Parsonage, and before that it was a hideaway for Al Capone when not in Chicago. After serving as a family home for many years, they moved away and the cabin eventually fell into disrepair. In 2011 the Peterson Family purchased it and restored to its former rustic charm but added modern amenities, including indoor plumbing. Now it is a very romantic honeymoon cabin for newlyweds who want to honeymoon in a historic setting.

Venue Event Fee – Bride’s Options:
1. Wedding &/Or Reception -$1400. Wedding ceremonies can begin as early as Noon if there is no reception following on our estate. See ALL this includes for YOU on the next page!
This does NOT require an Airbnb.com rental of our Historic Romantic Mountain Cabin- just 2 blocks from the Cobblestone Winery Estate- but you are welcome to rent it for your honeymoon if it is available! Often the Bride and her Girls stay the night before at the cabin and get ready for the wedding there. Grooms and their Men book other cabins – I have a list of comfy, clean cabins to rent close to the Wedding venue! Usually the Bride & Groom spend their first Honeymoon night at our cabin! Many couples stay with us each year on their wedding anniversary in our Historic Romantic Mountain Cabin! Rent on AirBnB.com as soon as possible to ensure availability!
2 . Wedding &/Or Reception with a 2-Night-Minimum Rental of Our Historic Romantic Mountain Cabin- the Night Before & Night of Wedding – $1300. Your $100 discount for renting the cabin will be applied to your other rentals or packages purchased from us about 2 -3 weeks before your wedding date. Rent on AirBnB.com as soon as possible to ensure availability! See ALL this includes for YOU on the next page!
*Usually the Bride or the Mother of the Bride rents the cabin and the Bride and her Girls stay the night before, and then your honeymoon night after the ceremony! Sometimes, the Mother of the Bride stays at the cabin both nights instead. You must have a 4-star rating on AirBnB to rent the cabin- since it is a 114-Years Old historic property.
Venue Event Fee Includes The Following:
Exclusive Venue Access: Overlooking famous Mount Scott and the historic granite cobblestone resort town of Medicine Park, you and up to 100 guests can enjoy this beautiful historic estate. Depending on your custom timeline, this includes 8-10 continuous hours of venue use for your outdoor event(s). Indoors will be included once the 1912 Cobblestone Winery building is restored and opens in early 2025).
Wedding Planner Services- Up to 3 Months in Advance: Assists you with ideas and contacts; Use your own -or use our Preferred Vendors including Photographers, Florists, Hair/makeup Artists, Decoration Rentals, Caterers, Bakers, DJs, Tents and More. Up to 12 months of Wedding Planning Services are available for purchase- $800 per each additional 3-months-block purchased.

Custom Wedding Day Timeline Creation: From Setup to removal of all items from venue. We start with your Wedding Ceremony Hour -based on your photography wishes. Then, we work backwards and forwards from there and communicate your timeline with all vendors & Bridal Party so everything runs smoothly and on time for YOUR DAY!
Vendor Contracts & Pricing: We Compare Benefits & Negotiate Prices Before You Sign.
On-Site Venue Coordinator -Present Before, During & After Your Event. We create custom floorplans with you; provide vendor setup coordination, timeline management; setup, cleaning & breakdown of rented centerpieces, tables, chairs, arches, etc. We keep your wedding day running smoothly for you so you, your family and friends may enjoy each other -making memories together that will last a lifetime.
Warming Stations, Microwave & Refrigerator with Freezer: Included in our Cabin if you book it- just 2 blocks from the Winery venue, and inside the winery building once it is open. Will your cake have buttercream icing -or a filling that needs to be refrigerated? Sterno pans allow you to setup your warm catered items anywhere on site!
6′ Rectangle Gift & Signing Table –with Stretch Tablecloth Set Up for You
Outdoor White Garden Chairs: Up to 50 rental chairs for your wedding ceremony guests are included. Our team will place them for you according to your custom design plan. Additional chairs are available to rent and will be placed for you by our team.
Small Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker: rental included. Easily connect to your iPad or phone playlist of music for the many sections of your wedding ceremony and your reception. We help with music playlists, too! Larger outdoor sound system/microphone available to rent.

FAQs
What is the maximum capacity?
The venue can accommodate up to 100 seated and standing at an outdoor event.
Do you allow outside caterers?
Yes, we do. However, they need to be one of the caterers on our preferred vendor list, or they must be approved by us before signing your contract with them. They will have to first sign an agreement with us for liability, timelines, cleanup rules.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. Per Oklahoma State Law, outside liquor is not allowed to be brought into a scheduled event venue without a liquor-licensed caterer on site. A vendor with a liquor license may be hired for an additional fee, and we can help you locate preferred vendors for this. No alcohol can be at the wedding winery estate property until we obtain our winery/liquor licenses.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes, we are! Feel free to include your doggo friend in your outdoor celebration for an additional $100 fee per dog provided they remain on leashes. Due to health codes, they cannot go inside the winery building. If you are using a different venue with us, we do not allow dogs in any of the buildings.
When is the final balance due?
Your final balance will be due 45 days prior to your event.
What is required to reserve the wedding date?
To reserve your date, you must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the price of the package you are selecting. Your next payment will be due halfway to your event date and will be for 25% of the price of your selected package plus all additional items/services. The remaining balance will be due after your final guest count is received -about 45 days out from your event. Catering final balance will be paid 5 days prior to event date. We do not offer refunds, because serving your event at the cabin means we were unable to book the venue for another event. Talk to us about changing event dates to save your deposits, if possible.
Do you have onsite parking?
Yes, there is free parking on winery grounds for 4 cars- the get-away car, photographer, our team, and any handicapped. There is ample free public parking for all others at Bath Lake parking lot in front of the estate. Guests may be couriered to and from the Lake parking area by one or more of your guests in their car, or they may walk up the street from the lake.
How easy is the venue for those with walking issues?
Since most activities will take place outside, it is not easy for those with walking disabilities but we strive to make the grass level. The winery building will be ADA compatible once it is open.
Do you have overnight accommodations?
Yes, there are many cabins nearby and we can assist you in getting those booked by your guests at least 2-3 months before your event. Up to 4 can sleep in our Historic Romantic Mountain Cabin if you bring a blow-up mattress and its sheets- we have a king-sized bed with plush linens. Whomever books the cabin must be the one of the people staying there.
Is there a clean-up fee?
No, there are no additional fees for set up, break down, or clean up of your event other than those listed with normal event situations.
Timeline
We will guide you through the following stages throughout the planning process
Stage 1 Discovery: During this stage, you are choosing the venue rental package and/or services that will best suit your event needs.
Stage 2 Development: During stage two, your focus will be on assembling the team of professionals that are going to bring your event vision to life.
Stage 3 Refinement: Stage three is when you will finalize all of the details for the big day. I send you forms that make invitations and RSVPS, Music Selections and more simple for you! From your seating chart (if any) to your final guest count, all of the last-minute details are addressed during this stage.
Stage 4 Execution: The final stage is the execution phase of the process. From bridal party arrival to post-event breakdown, all of that happens in stage four.
